The Conjuring House
First Investigation
The Conjuring movie starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson was based on the experiences that the Perron family had at this property. This was a marathon investigation that we were made for. We had full access to investigate the home in Burrillville, Rhode Island for 14 hours.
We highly recommend taking a day tour if you're ever in the area, but once the sun sets, this house changes. Time moves differently room to room; some rooms slow down time, others speed it up.
We learned a lot about the true history of the property and how it differs from urban legends and fictionized accounts. We played the famous hide and clap game and although we didn't hear it at the time, during our evidence review we were delighted to find that the spirits clapped back!
Second Investigation
The first investigation of The Conjuring House was so nice we decided to investigate twice! Our guests from the first investigation also decided to return for a second time.
We were especially excited as it was just days before Halloween. We experienced a shift in energy when the sun set at this property during our first investigation, so we were interested in seeing if the shift in seasons also changed the energy.
One of our guests felt ill and had to leave before sunrise but she later told us that as soon as she drove away, she felt fine. Right after she left, we thought we were locked in the basement. A moment of panic ensued, but luckily after a few more tries, the door opened fine.
Third Investigation
The first and second investigations brought new experience and adventure for two guest investigators, but our teammates, Heather and Regina, had yet to experience the house. A third investigation in March of 2024 was conducted with the full team present.
While we were in the infamous basement, Myron was using our thermal camera. It was quite cold and we were all in hoodies. Yet the one empty metal chair was emitting an unexplained heat signature. We're still analyzing it, but have yet to debunk it.
Myron and Heather loved investigating the bathroom, while Jillian and Regina kept getting an uneasy feeling. They still pushed through the fear for the sake of the investigation.
