Gaetano's Tavern on Main

Nestled in the heart of Wallingford, Connecticut is a great restaurant called Gaetano's Tavern On Main. Obsidian was able to secure an investigation and take a walk through Wallingford's history.

Wallingford was incorporated as a town in 1670, over 100 years before the Revolutionary war and the birth of the United States of America. North Main Street is a designated historic district and property owners strive to keep the building's historic significance alive. George Washington himself made two trips through Wallingford. The first in 1775 and the other in 1789 while he was a sitting president.

With such a rich and significant history, we're excited to see if any historic figures have revealed themselves on our investigation footage. We had a great time investigating and a great dinner at the restaurant on a previous visit, too.
